Venezuelan top model rules the universe

Beautiful Dayana Mendoza (22), born in Caracas, dazzled Vietnam not only because of her measurements and brownie skin but because of her answer regarding the differences between men and women.

This top model works for Alexander's Modeling Agency and her book can be seen at www.modelosdevenezuela.com. Dayana Mendoza was one of the favorites from the beginning of the contest.

Japanese former winner, Riyo Mori, gave Dayana the crown in the stage set in Nha Trang (Vietnam). Who were watching the contest on TV felt the emotion when Mendoza was named first among 15 contestants, even if Jerry Spinger and Mel B reinforced the fact that the list was organized in an aleatory order.

During the bathing suit parade, Mexican Elisa Najera, Venezuelan Dayana Mendoza and American Crystle Stewart obtained the highest marks.

People were surprised to see four Latin American women among the final five contestants: Colombia (Taliana Vargas), Venezuela (Dayana Mendoza), República Dominicana (Marianne Cruz González), Mexico (Elisa Najera) and Rusia (Vera Krasova).

Finally, stylist Louis Licari asked Dayana about how simple could be the life of men and women. She answered that God made us to share even if we have a lot of differences: “men believe that following a straight line is the easiest way to solve a problem while women follow the branches to find every detail to solve it”.
